Named after Nisaba, the ancient Mesopotamian goddess of writing, wisdom, and knowledge, Nisaba Media carries its legacy of using words to preserve memory, share truth, and shape society.

 

Founded in August 2025, Nisaba Media is an independent, self-funded, and volunteer-driven platform dedicated to storytelling that explores culture, politics, and human rights across the Middle East and North Africa.

 

We are not guided by governments, corporations, or sponsors, only by ethics, curiosity, and the pursuit of truth.

 

Our journalism highlights the untold, amplifies marginalized voices, and sparks conversations that challenge, inform, and inspire.

 

We do not claim neutrality: our bias is deliberate, and we stand with the vulnerable, the voiceless, and the victims.
